Setup Guide

The Setup guide is now part of Tips. From version 2.18 (October 2026), every step the Set up Pocket Clear checklist had is a tip in the Tips list, with the same done check. There is one list instead of two.

What changed

• The ring stays. The small ring in the top-left corner of Home now counts tips done out of all tips, and tapping it opens the Tips list. See The Home ring.
• Done works the same way. A step still counts as done when the app can see you've used the feature: you have a budget, you've turned on Cloud Sync, you've placed the widget. Nothing new is tracked or sent anywhere.
• Skip is now "Not for me". Steps you skipped stay skipped. In the Tips list they count as done and keep an Undo.
• New features get a New badge. Every tip shows the version it arrived in, and after an update the list opens on What's new.
• Settings → Setup guide is gone. Use Settings → Tips, or tap the ring.
