Transaction Notes

You can add an optional note to any transaction — a free-text field of up to 500 characters. It lives on the add/edit transaction form, so you can jot down whatever helps you remember what a transaction was for.

Notes can span multiple lines, which makes them handy for context like "dinner with the team" or an invoice number. The note is saved with the transaction, so it stays attached wherever the transaction goes.

How to add a note

  1. When adding or editing a transaction, find the note field on the form.
  2. Type whatever context you want to remember.
  3. Tap Save.

Good to know

If you want to group or label across many transactions rather than note a single one, Tags (Pro) may fit better.
