Pocket Clear now speaks Japanese and Korean. That makes 12 languages on iPhone and Android, and every one of them is on the free plan.
This update also finishes the job on seven languages that were only partly translated. German, Spanish, Filipino, French, Hindi, Italian and Portuguese are now translated end to end, so you won't run into an English screen halfway through Settings.
Emails and notifications in your language
Until now the app spoke your language but our emails didn't. From this update, the emails and notifications Pocket Clear sends you follow the language you picked in the app. That covers your sign-in code, your welcome email, the CSV and PDF exports we email you, and the nudges and reminders in between. Pick 日本語 in the app and your next email from us arrives in Japanese.
How to switch
- New to Pocket Clear? Pick 日本語 or 한국어 on the very first screen.
- Already using it? Go to Settings → Language. The switch is instant.
- On Android 13 and later you can also set it in your phone's Settings → Apps → Pocket Clear → Language.

Yen and won, without the decimals
Pocket Clear supports 135 currencies, including the Japanese yen and the Korean won. With Decimal Places set to Auto, amounts follow your currency, so ¥1,200 and ₩15,000 show as whole numbers with no trailing zeros.
