Currency
Your primary currency is the unit used for every amount in Pocket Clear — transaction totals, budget limits, savings goals, and reports all display in this currency. You choose it when you first set up the app, and you can change it later in Settings.
Pocket Clear supports more than 130 currencies worldwide. The currency symbol appears next to all amounts throughout the app, so your spending always shows in the money you actually use day to day.
Important: changing your primary currency does not convert existing transaction amounts. If you switch from USD to EUR, a transaction logged as 50 will now display as 50 EUR. This is by design — Pocket Clear is a manual tracker, and your logged amounts represent what you actually spent in your local currency. How to set or change your currency
- Open Pocket Clear and tap Settings (gear icon).
- Tap Currency.
- Search or scroll to find your currency, then tap to select it.
- All amounts across the app will now display with the new currency symbol.
Things to know
- Changing currency only updates the display symbol — existing transaction amounts stay the same numbers.
- If you use Partner Mode, both partners must use the same primary currency. You cannot link accounts with mismatched currencies.
- Currency cannot be changed while you are actively linked to a partner. Unlink first, change the currency, then re-link.
