Pocket Clear on the web
Sign in at web.pocketclear.app to look at everything you have logged on a full-size screen. It is a reading and exporting tool: sort and filter thousands of transactions in a spreadsheet-style table, then have the file emailed to you.
It is read-only, on purpose
You cannot add, edit or delete anything on the web. Your phone is the place your data is created and changed, and keeping it that way means there is no second copy to reconcile and no way for a browser tab to lose a transaction. Adding on the web is not a limitation we plan to leave in place forever — it is simply not what this first version does.
What you need
- Pro, and Cloud Sync turned on. The web reads the synced copy of your data, so without Cloud Sync there is genuinely nothing on our side to show you.
- An account you already have. Sign-up happens in the app. If you have not installed Pocket Clear yet, the sign-in page has links and a QR code to get you there.
Signing in
Enter the email address on your Pocket Clear account and we send you a six-digit code, the same way the app does. There is no password. A browser stays signed in for as long as you keep using it, and goes quiet after three days of not being touched — so an old tab on a shared laptop does not stay open forever. Sign out ends it immediately.
You are signed in on one browser at a time. Signing in somewhere new signs the old one out, and signing out signs out every browser at once. Your phone is not affected either way — it stays signed in.
Filtering
The filter bar mirrors the one on All Transactions in the app: money in or out or transfers, categories and subcategories, payment types, a minimum and maximum amount, and a search across your notes. Sorting by date or amount is available from the table header.
If you are linked in Partner Mode, the same Me / Combined / Partner switch appears, and it works exactly as it does on your phone.
Dates work by the calendar here
The web offers plain calendar ranges — this calendar month, last calendar month, the last 30 or 90 days, this year, or any two dates you pick. It does not use the view period or period start day you set on your phone, because those are settings that live on your device and never leave it. If you use a semi-monthly period, or a start day other than the 1st, a month on the web will not line up with a month in the app. Pick an explicit date range and both will agree.
For the same reason, money you set aside into a savings goal is shown as its own figure rather than being folded into Money Out — so the number is there whichever way you count it.
Exporting
The export buttons use the same export that the app does, with the filters you have on screen applied to it. The one exception is the note search, which the export does not support — the page tells you so when you have one typed. The file arrives by email, usually within three minutes, at the address on your account. Nothing downloads directly from the table.
Opening it from the app
On your phone, go to Settings and tap Open Pocket Clear on the web.
