Road to 50 rewards the first 50 entries on the free plan: the home-screen widget at 10, a month projection at 25, and three months of Pro at 50. As of version 2.17, that last reward takes one more thing: log 50 entries and invite one friend who logs an entry of their own.
Most people find Pocket Clear because someone told them about it. This makes that count, for you and for them.
Invite friends, in Settings
Open Settings → Invite friends. You get your own link, which looks like pocketclear.app/get?r=ABC234, and three ways to send it:
- Copy link, to paste anywhere;
- WhatsApp, which opens a chat with the invite ready to send;
- Messages / More…, your phone's share sheet.
The link opens a page that sends your friend to the right store for their phone, iPhone or Android, or shows both with a QR code on a laptop. The screen also shows how many friends have joined and how many are still waiting to log their first entry.
How your friend gets counted
A friend counts once three things are true: they created an account, they were credited to you, and they logged at least one entry.
- On Android, if they install from the Google Play button on your link's page, they're credited automatically. Nothing to type.
- On iPhone, they enter your code after signing up, under Settings → Invite friends → Got an invite code? If they tell the app they heard about it from a friend or family member, it offers the code field right there.
A few fair-play rules: each person can be credited once, within 30 days of creating their account, never with their own code, and partners linked in Partner Mode can't use each other's code.
At 50 entries
You can invite whenever you like. The Road to 50 card has an Invite a friend link from the start, so your friend can already count by the time you get there.
If you reach 50 and no friend has joined yet, the last marker reads Invite 1 friend to unlock, with an Invite button. Once a friend counts, tap Get 3 months of Pro, then Email us. We reply with an App Store or Play Store code, usually within a day. Redeeming it starts Pro with the first three months free; after that it continues at the regular price shown in the app unless you cancel from your store subscriptions.
Already asked for your code before this change? You keep it. Nothing to do.
Who can claim it
- You're on the free plan with 50 or more entries.
- At least one friend you invited has joined and logged an entry.
- You've never paid for Pro. A free trial you didn't continue doesn't count as paying.
- You don't have a Lifetime plan.
Why a friend?
Most people who use Pocket Clear heard about it from someone they know. Three months of Pro is our thank-you for passing it on, and the free plan stays free either way. A friend who tracks alongside you also makes the habit easier to keep.
What we see
Your invite link carries a six-character code and nothing else: no name, no email. Your friend's entries stay on their phone, as yours do on the free plan. The only thing we learn is whether they've logged one. You see how many friends have joined, never who they are.

How many friends do I need to invite?
One. Log 50 entries and invite one friend who creates an account, is credited to you and logs at least one entry, and you can request 3 months of Pro.
My friend has an iPhone. How do they use my code?
After signing up, they open Settings, then Invite friends, and type your code under Got an invite code? Upper or lower case both work. They have 30 days from creating their account.
Do I see who joined with my link?
No. The Invite friends screen shows how many friends joined and how many are waiting for their first entry, never who they are.
I already requested my Road to 50 code. Do I need a friend now?
No. Anyone who requested their code before version 2.17 keeps it.
