Catch-up Week
Everyone misses a few days. The catch-up screen shows the last seven days side by side — how many entries each day has and what you spent — with the empty days highlighted, so filling them in takes a minute instead of a scroll through your memory.
Where to find it
- Home: once you have at least five entries, a card such as "3 days missing this week" appears under your balance whenever two or more of the previous six days have no expenses logged. Tap Fill them in. Dismiss it and it stays away until tomorrow.
- Daily reminder: from the second unlogged day on, tapping the reminder opens the catch-up screen directly.
- Weekly summary: the Sunday notification opens catch-up instead of Insights when the week has two or more empty days.
- Email: on the free plan, while you have between 5 and 49 entries, an occasional Sunday email, "Fill in the week in a minute", links straight here. It comes at most once every four weeks.
Filling in a day
- Tap a day. You'll see what's already logged for it — tap any entry to edit it.
- Under Add an entry, tap a suggestion chip to save it instantly with that amount and date. The chips are your usual entries, ranked by Smart Suggestions; once you have 15 or more entries they appear here automatically. Before that, pick a category and type an amount.
- Keep tapping — the sheet stays open and the day's count goes up. Tap Done when you're finished.
Entries added here are ordinary transactions saved at midday on that day. They sync, show in reports, count toward milestones and your Power Score, and can be edited or deleted like any other entry.
A rolling week
The seven columns always end on today, regardless of your view period or week-start setting. Today is never counted as "missing" — an empty morning isn't a gap yet. A day counts as empty when it has no expenses of your own, so a day with only income or a transfer still shows as missing.
Your first week, when you sign up
The same idea runs backwards on day one. When you create an account, one onboarding step asks you to Log this week's spending: "Takes a minute and makes your first report real."
- Pick a day — Today, Yesterday, and so on back to 6 days ago.
- Pick a category and type an amount, then tap Save and add another. A counter shows how many you've added.
- Tap Done when you've added what you remember, or Skip to go straight to the app.
These are ordinary expenses saved at midday on the day you picked, with no payment type, so you can edit them later like any other entry. Right after this step, Pocket Clear asks whether you want a daily reminder.
