All Transactions

The All Transactions view shows your complete transaction history in one place, with the category and subcategory for every entry. It's where you go when you want to find a specific purchase, review everything you've spent, or look back across more than one month at a time.

From the Home screen, tap Show All Transactions. It opens at the month you're currently viewing rather than jumping to the current month, so you keep your place. From there you can filter, sort, and choose any date range you like.

Filtering your transactions

Combine any of the filters below to narrow the list down to exactly what you're looking for:

Once you've picked a category, its subcategory chips let you select more than one at a time — a caption under the chips tells you how many are selected, and changing the category clears the subcategory selection.

Sorting

Order the list whichever way is most useful:

Date ranges & multi-month views

Choose a custom start and end date to view any span you like, or use one of the quick presets — Last 3 months, Last 6 months, or This Year. The list and totals update to cover the whole selected range, which makes All Transactions the easiest way to look across multiple months.

Pro: receipt and trip markers

Two small markers can show up alongside a transaction. Both come from Pro features — if you don't use either one, nothing about the list changes.

Receipts

A small paperclip next to a transaction means a receipt photo is attached to it. An upload icon in its place means the photo is saved on your phone but hasn't been backed up yet. Receipts get photographed at the till, which is very often where the signal is worst, so Pocket Clear saves the photo and records the transaction immediately, then finishes the backup on its own the next time you have a connection. It isn't an error and there's nothing to do about it.

Receipt Photos is a Pro feature, and because backups need somewhere to go it only appears when Cloud Sync is on.

Trips

While a trip is running, everything you log is marked as part of it, and All Transactions shows the trip instead of the month. The month button stays in the corner, so you can switch back to the calendar month and return to the trip whenever you like.

That marker is deliberately something you can see and change rather than something applied silently in the background: it's a switch on the Add Transaction screen as you log the entry, and a picker when you open the transaction again afterwards. So if something was attached to a trip it doesn't belong to — a recurring bill that happened to fall inside your travel dates, say — you can take it off that trip without deleting or re-entering anything. Trips are Pro.
